My sister 18 months old daughter has achondroplasia
Achondroplasia is a genetic difference that made her bone growth slower.
It caused her height will be smaller than her peers
On the other word is she will be dwarf
In other country such as America, they has their own organization named Little People of America (LPA) but here in Indonesia, my country, we haven’t have the similar organizations. Through this posting, I hope everybody that has the similar problem with my sister, can share the information that we need, we can encourage each other. And the important thing is you know that YOU ARE NOT ALONE….
It is not an easy thing to do, become a parent for our “special children”. There are many steps of actions, many therapies, many things that we should worry about (so we can prepare for the worst). That’s why we need to support each other….
