The various features of krill oil supplementation?

Here I outline a few things I discovered regarding krill oil benefits but krill oil is really a supplement produced by extracting oils from shrimp like creatures called krill.
Krill oil supplies Omega-3 fatty acids like fish oil, but unlike fish oil they’re primarily tied to phospholipids and not triglycerides.
Phospholipids are the type of lipids that form cell membranes and that is believed to be the main reason Omega-3 fats in krill oil are more readily absorbed. Krill oil also includes an antioxidant chemical called astaxanthin, a carotenoid antioxidant with natural health benefits.
Krill oil is mainly consumed for the Omega-3 essential fatty acids which happen to have numerous therapeutic benefits, including improvements in cancer, heart disease, arthritis, a number of mental conditions, immune function, and much more.
Here I am not going to discuss the health rewards of Omega-3 fatty acids but go through the studies where they specifically supplement with krill oil. All the health benefits that pertain to Omega-3 from fish oil or food should apply to krill oil as well.
In a study, women were randomized into two groups. The groups consumed 2g per day of either krill oil or fish oil supplements. Krill oil was far more effective than fish-oil for treating the signs of dysmenorrhea and premenstrual syndrome or pms.
A study split patients into groups. One took krill oil daily, and the other fish oil supplements. The krill oil groups reduced total cholesterol, Bad cholesterol and triglycerides, and increased HDL cholesterol, much more as opposed to fish-oil group.
They are all common risk factors for heart disease, and it seems plausible that krill oil may drastically reduce cardiovascular disease risk.
A randomized study sorted into two groups. One group took krill oil daily, and the other took placebo. The krill oil group decreased C-Reactive Protein by significantly although it increased in the placebo group.
It seems clear that krill oil is really a far more powerful way to obtain Omega-3 compared to fish oil supplements, possibly due to better absorption or other nutrients in it including the antioxidant Astaxanthin.
One more reason krill oil is preferred is that some sources of fish are contaminated. Krill is lower in the food chain and has far lower amounts of toxins.
